ULFA-I flags across Assam: Two Ex-ULFA detained

Two former ULFA members have been detained in connection with the flowing of ULFA (I) flags across the State on November 28.

Nagaon police in connection with the incident have detained former ULFA members Naren Gohain and Bhaskar Bora on Friday night. Flags of the banned outfit have strung across the state, of which at least three spots were in Nagaon.

"In Nagaon, three flags were found near Bhutaigaon Playground," said a police official. An Opel Corsa vehicle bearing registration AS21 E 7249 which was used in the commission of the crime and various other incriminating material have been seized after police raided the houses of the two accused.The discovery of the flags had led to a wave of panic among the locals.
