ULFA-I going ‘Digitally’ against India

Pratidin Bureau

The United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) is trying to create anti-India sentiments by using the cyber space, sources said the ULFA(I) recently made a plan to upload anti-India videos on the social media.

According to the reports, few boys were seen burning down two National Flags and hoisting a flag of the ULFA (I) in the video recorded in a place near the Dhemaji-Arunachal Pradesh boundary. But based on an input, Assam police had managed to apprehend the boys and seized the flags of the militant outfit along with some incriminating documents.

Two other boys from Dibrugarh were also arrested in this connection. The state Police has achieved a major success in foiling such a bid where the militant outfit tried to spread negative feelings and hatred towards India.
