In a sensational incident, unidentified body of a man was recovered near Agyathuri Railway Station in North Guwahat on Wednesday. The body was found lying near the railway tracks.

"There was no paper or documents recovered from the possession of the deceased. The deceased was wearing a black and white shirt and black pant. We are investigating the case," said a police officer after reaching the spot.

The official further said whether it was a case of murder would be established only after the autopsy is done. However, locals suspected that the man had committed suicide.
