Rima Das will soon come with the second edition of her National Award winning movie 'Village Rockstars'.

In an interaction with the artists' society in her hometown in Chaygaon, the National Award winning director expressed her willingness to make the sequel of the acclaimed Assamese movie, which was India's official entry at the Oscars in the 'Best Foreign Film' category.

It may be mentioned here that Das recently received financial assistance of Rs 50 lakhs from the Assam State Film (Finance & Development) Corporation (AFFDC) for her new film Purno Chandra.

She further informed that the 'Village Rockstar-2' will be a musical like its predecessor.
