In atragic incident, a wild boar killed a couple in Khundalia Char near Dhing andalso attacked two other women on Wednesday night.

Accordingto reports, the incident took place while crossing a cornfield on their wayhome. Reports also suggested that the wild boar suddenly pounced on them when theywere crossing the cornfield.

Thedeceased are Nur Mohammad and Jahanara Begum. The locals immediately rushed totheir rescue and took them to a nearby hospital. The doctor declared the couplebrought dead, while the injured persons are currently undergoing treatment. Theyhave been identified as Junmoni Begum and Kulsuma Khatun.
