Will Take Action Against erring Police Who Beats Up Special Child: GP Singh

Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order), GP Singh assured Palash Chaliha whose special child has been beaten up by the private bodyguard of Bharalumukh DCP Traffic Mayank Jha on Thursday that they will be justified and the guilty will be punished.

On Thursday, Palash Chaliha's special child was assaulted by the police while he went to a pharmacy with his father. Soon, after the incident, Chaliha posted the child's beaten up mark in the body in the Facebook revealing the cruel incident of the police.

After the Facebook post went viral, ADGP GP Singh in his twitter handle said that the police will take action against Mayank Jha and his bodyguard who has beaten up the special child of Chaliha. He said, "Reference Facebook post of Sri Palash Chaliha regarding policeman beating up Sri Chaliha's child, who also happens to be a special child, please rest assured action would be taken against the erring policeman. No compromise on such issues."

Meanwhile, the Assam Police is now in search of Mayank Jha but Chaliha denied commenting anything on the issue to media and also denied to lodge an FIR against the culprit.
