Assam DGP Kuladhar Saikia on Saturday said that there might be more police officials involved in the sensational case, where three Guwahati policemen looted Rs. 20 lakh from a Mizo woman. Saikia also said that Assam Police would take strict actions against those, who were involved in the case.

Meanwhile, the Police have initiated the procedure to suspend the trio, who conned a Mizo businesswoman by posing as Crime Branch officials.

"We have already initiated the departmentalproceedings against them," said DGP Kuladhar Saikia. Earlier, Pranjal Bora(SI), Hiranya Pathari (SI) and Bipul Hazarika (Home Guard) were arrested by thepolice in connection with the case.
