A woman was burnt to death under Lumding PS in Hojai district of Assam.

Identified as Sushmita Das, it has been alleged that her in-laws had murdered her by setting her ablaze.

Her husband Babla Ranjan Das is the prime suspect and police have detained him.

Deceased Sushmita and Babla got married five years ago and they have a three-year-old daughter and a six-month-old son.
