In an attempted daring daylight robbery, two bike-borne miscreants tried to snatch a bag containing Rs. 40,000 from a woman in the Maligaon Shuttle Gate area in the city on Friday morning.

However,the lady managed to keep hold of her bag before the miscreants fled from the spot.The suspects were describedas medium build, between 20 to 25 years. Both were said to be wearing helmets. Thelady sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Meanwhile,a complaint has been lodged with the police and they are hunting both themiscreants.

It may be mentioned here that a similar incident was reported from the area on Wednesday, but the police have failed to take any actions regarding the incident.
