A women trafficker has been arrested from Chaygaon. The arrested has been identified as Jiyarul Haque of Mohimari.

Jiyarul wasaccused in many cases and he was absconding for many days but the Goroimaripolice have arrested him on Monday night after they received information frominternal source.

It may bementioned that, woman trafficking in the state is rising at an alarming rate asthe women are being taken to other states by promising them jobs. The womenmostly belongs from economically backward section and they also want to move toother parts in search of jobs but the trafficker after taking them to otherstates sold them in lieu of money.

These women aremostly exploited after they are being handed over to the agencies who take thesewomen to other countries as well.
