In a heinous incident, a youth was found dead on Sunday night near Kalibari rest camp in Guwahati's Maligaon area.

The body of the youth was found mysteriously with sharp weapons in his hands over a drain in the area.

The youth has been identified as one named Sambhu.

However, people are suspecting another angle to the heinous crime as locals believe that sharp weapons were intentionally placed in his hands to make the murder victim look like a culprit.

Ever since the body was found, the area has remained tense and an unit of Jalukbari Police Station reached the spot to control the situation.
