Zubeen, Jatin in Indian Army’s Tribute to Kargil Heroes

Assam and the Northeast is once again proud for being represented in an Indian Army's song made in honour of the Kargil martyrs and war veterans.

The video features actor turned producer Jatin Bora, singer Zubeen Garg, actor Aimee Baruah and boxer Mary Kom among Bollywood big shots such as Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal and others.

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat released the song at a function organized in New Delhi on Friday as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th of this month.

The song, made to salute and pay homage to the Kargil War Heroes, has be directed by Assam's Juana Jain and her husband Ajay Kumar. A composition of eminent Hindi lyricist Sammer Anjaan has been lent voice by Shatadru Kabir.

Director Juana is the daughter of Guwahati's late Bhupendra Nath Bhagabati and Dr Nilima Bhagabati.
