7 Children, Driver Killed In an accident In Madhya Pradesh

At least seven school children and a driver were killed when a bus collided with a school van in Madhya Pradesh's Birsinghpur under Satna district on Thursday. At least eight others were also injured in the accident.

PTI quoted Satna district Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Singh Gaur as saying, "As per reports, at least seven school children travelling in the school van and its driver were killed in the accident."

According to news agency IANS, the personnel dispatched to Birsinghpur village by the Police Control Room arrived at a scene to screaming and crying children after the head-on collision.

The deceased children were students of Lucky Convent School in Birsinghpur. Senior police and government officials, including Collector Rahul Jain, have rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
