All accused acquitted in Pehlu Khan Lynching Case

A Rajasthancourt on Wednesday acquitted all six accused of Pehlu Khan lynching case. Allof them were seen dragging Pehlu Khan on the road, punching and kicking him. Khan'ssons survived the beating but Khan succumbed to his injuries.

However,the court acquitted them on the benefit of doubt. As per court reports, thevideo evidence was not admissible.

It maybe mentioned here that Pehlu Khan was lynched in April 2017. He was confrontedby a group of cow vigilantes, while he was transporting cows. The cowvigilantes thrashed him along with his sons.

Laterpolice had arrested six people in connection with the case under Sections 147,323, 341, 302, 308, 379 and 427 of the IPC.
