Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh participating in an event has said that all states have been asked to conduct a survey of Rohingya Muslims living in the country.

Singh made this comment while answering queries at a press conference in Jammu about the steps taken by the Home Ministry to deport the Rohingyas on Friday.

The Minister informed that an advisory has been issued to all states that no legal document should be given to the community that would help them claim citizenship of the country in future.

Singh said that the process of deportation of the Rohingyas would begin once the survey information from all the states reaches the ministry.
