Annual RSS meet to begin tomorrow

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to begin their annual meeting in Gwalior on March 08.

The meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha will have around 1,400 select representatives from all over the country.

Speaking to the media,  RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Arun Kumar said, "The convention will deliberate on current national, social and religious scenario in the country and pass some important resolutions".

Kumar further informed that the in the meeting, RSS' year-long programmes about various activities, including those in the field of education, will be decided.

However, he also stated that there will be no discussions held on the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Representatives chosen from 11 regions and 43 provinces (in Sangh parlance) working in various fields will participate at the Pratinidhi Sabha meeting, said Kumar adding, "The meeting will discuss current issues pertaining to national interest as well as some social and religious matters".

The publicity head also said that a meeting will be held on Thursday to finalise the agenda for the convention.
