BJP National Council meeting begins

The two-day national council meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun from today (Friday) at the iconic Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. On the occasion of the national convention a temporary Prime Minister's Office has been set up at the meeting venue for PM Modi.

BJP National president Amit Shah has delivered the inaugural speech at the convention. As much as 14,000 active BJP workers are expected to attend the council meeting. It may be noted that after a gap of 32 years, this is the 1st BJP's National Council in Delhi.

The saffron party has passed political resolution and economic resolution as well highlighting the success of the Modi government at the meeting. The event will conclude with an address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday afternoon.

The meeting, themed 'Abki baar phir Modi Sarkar'. In this meeting, BJP will prepare strategy to defeat Indian national Congress once again in upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

BJP's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that their main focus will be the Lok Sabha election. The convention will conclude with an address by PM Narendra Modi on Saturday afternoon.
