Caught on Cam: Union minister scolds SDM

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Union Minister Ashwini Choubey was seen having a verbal exchange with a sub district magistrate (SDM) at Buxar in Bihar. The incident took place when the SDM stopped the convoy of the MoS for health and family welfare for allegedly violating the model code of conduct (MCC).

In the video, the minister was seen angrily reacting to the official who tried to describe the Union Minister about the Election Commission's order. "What's the issue? Who's order is it. Send me to jail if you have to do something. This is my vehicle and you cannot seize it," said the Choubey to the official.

"There was no permission for vehicles but it has been reported that there were many vehicles parked at Zila Maidan. There were about 30-40 vehicles in the convoy and action will be taken over it," SDM KK Upadhyay told media.
