Dushyant Chautala To Meet Father in Tihar Jail

Leaderof Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), Dushyant Chautala will meet his 10 legislatorson Friday after a fractured mandate in the Haryana Assembly elections to decidewhether to support the Congress or the BJP.

Earlier,on Friday, JJP Legislators unanimously elected Chautala as their floor leader.

TheCongress won 31 of the 90 seats in the assembly polls held on October 21 andBJP bagged 40 seats. The half-way mark is 46.

Chautalawill also meet his father Ajay Chautala, who is currently lodged in Tihar Jailbefore taking a final decision on the future course of action.

Chautalahas remained non-committal till now on whether his party would support the BJPor the Congress. According to party sources, he is likely to meet Union HomeMinister Amit Shah soon.

With31 seats, the Congress will need the support of both the JJP as well as sevenIndependents to come to power.
