Former Bihar CM Jagannath Mishra Passes Away

Former Chief Minister of Bihar Jagannath Mishra passedaway on Monday at a hospital in New Delhi after suffering from a prolongedillness. Mishra was 82 at the time of his death.

Mishra was a three-time chief minister before theadvent Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav in the Biharpolitical scene.

Before Lalu Prasad Yadav became the face of Biharpolitics, Mishra was the tallest political leader of Bihar for the longesttime.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed grief onthe sudden demise of Mishra.

Bihar government has also declared a three-day statemourning in Bihar. The former CM will be cremated with state honours.
