Former Union Minister Ram Jethmalani passes away

Senior Supreme Court lawyer and former Union Minister Ram Jethmalani passed away Sunday morning in New Delhi. He was 95. Sources said that he passed away at his residence.

Ram Jethmalani had not been keeping well for the last few months, his son told media.

Jethmalani was a six-time Rajya Sabha member and served as Union Law Minister in Vajpayee governments and as chairman of the Bar Council of India.

He was born in Sikharpur of Sindh province on 14September, 1923.
