Sitting BJP MP and actor Hema Malini's is a billionaire whose assets value have increased by enormous amount of Rs. 34.46 crore in the last five years.

The aforementioned information has come into light after an affidavit filed by her to the Election Commission of India while filing her nomination as Lok Sabha candidate from the Mathura parliamentary constituency.

According to the affidavit, the MP currently owns a total wealth including bungalows, jewelleries, cash, shares and term deposits worth over Rs. 101 crore. It may be noted, prior to the 2014 general elections, the value of her total assets were nearly Rs. 66 crore.

At the same time, assets value of her husband, veteran actor Dharmendra Singh Deol increased to Rs. 12.30 crore during the corresponding period, revealed the affidavit which also details the assets and liabilities of Hema Malini's spouse.

The affidavit is also accompanied by her income tax returns for the past five years which discloses that the duo earned Rs. 10 crore each during the period.
