IAF airstrike: PM slams opposition

Pratidin Bureau

Amid the rising tension between India and Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday slammed opposition parties for questioning the airstrike conducted by Indian Air Force (IAF) on Pakistan targeting the Jaish-e Mohammad (JeM) terror camps at Balakot.

Addressing a rally in Patna, PM Modi said, "They asked for evidence of the surgical strike. Now, they are asking for evidence of the strikes by the Air Force." "If Mahamilavat (Mahagathbandhan) government had been there, there would be no development as they only work for developing themselves," Modi added.

PM Modi also said that the nation will give fitting reply for the death of its soldiers. He was addressing an election rally of NDA on Sunday.
