India, China welcome new year together in Nathula

Continuing with the efforts to enhance mutual trust and faith amongst troops at the border, Indian Army and Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) jointly celebrated New Year on Tuesday by greeting each other and extending best wishes.

Both the delegations interacted and exchanged greetings in a cordial atmosphere which is a sign of improving military-to-military ties at ground level. 

The delegation of both sides were led by Colonel level officers who exchanged compliments and pleasantries at the historic Nathu La in Sikkim.
