Tawang : Indian Army Saves Eight Lives

The Indian Army has always been upfront whether it may be at the rescue operations of Kerala flood or extricating tourists at  Tawang .

On Tuesday , eight civilians were rescued by  the East Tawang Brigade of the Indian Army under the aegis of Blazing Sword Division who were travelling  from Holy Water Falls (Damteng) to Tawang.

A van carrying eight tourists   skidded 300 meters down a steep valley. The Indian Army Soldiers rushed to the accident site from a nearby camp and extricated the passengers.

The timely act of the Indian Army prevented loss of any life. All of those extricated   were brought to the Army Camp  and provided immediate medical aid .

The survivors were grateful to the Indian Army soldiers for this timely assistance and saving their lives.
