India’s 1st space war drill to kickstart this week

Months after the success of Mission Shakti, Indian armed forces are all set to launch first-ever Space War Exercise. Organized by the Ministry of Defence, the exercise is likely to be conducted on July 25-16, 2019.

Asper sources, the exercise has been named 'IndSpaceEx' and all the three forceswill participate in the exercise. Prepared according to the vision of PrimeMinister Narendra Modi, 'IndSpaceEx' will help India to prepare for futurespace wars, suggested reports.

According to media reports, the objective of the war exercise is to evaluate the essential space and counter-space abilities that are required by India. It may be mentioned here that after Mission Shakti India had become the fourth country in the world after Russia, USA and China to have ASAT power.
