J & K Governor on Fidayeen Attack at CRPF

Governor ofJammu and Kashmir, Satya Pal Malik on Thursday claimed that the Fidayeen attackon a CRPF party in Southern Anantnag district on Wednesday that left fivetroopers dead was carried out at the behest of Pakistan.

On thesidelines of a convocation ceremony of  aprivate university at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) inSrinagar, Malik said that Wednesday's militant attack was a Fidayeen attackordered by Pakistan adding that whenever there is peace in the valley, Pakistantries to disrupt it by resorting to fidayeen attacks.

The Governorfurther said that they had conducted elections in the state in a peacefulmanner which did not go well with the militant handlers based in Pakistan. He alsosaid that it is only with the approval of Pakistan that militants carry outfidayeen attacks in the valley.
