Lightning and hailstorm claim 45 lives in Bihar, Jharkhand and UP

As many as 45 people lost their lives in lightning and hailstorms in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.

18 people were killed and over a dozen injured in several parts of Bihar last night. Five deaths have been reported from Aurangabad district. The MeT department has predicted more thunderstorm in the next 24 hours in several parts of the state.

As per reports, 15 people were killed in storm in Uttar Pradesh.

12 people have lost their lives in Jharkhand and 28 suffered burn injuries due to lightning.
