LoC: Pak violates ceasefire; one jawan dead

Reports of violation of ceasefire by Pakistani forces at the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district, killing one army jawan and critically injuring three others, have come in.

According to reports, Pakistani troops had mortar shells and small arms during ceasefire violation in Keri Battal area of Sunderbani sector today.

Quoting an an army official, news agency IANS said, "A soldier was killed when Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation around 5.30 a.m. today. The Indian Army retaliated effectively".

It may be noted that the incident is the second instance after Pakistan violated ceasefire at Rajouri on Sunday.
