Looking forward to a productive winter session: Modi

Aheadof the winter session of the Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturdayhas said that he looks forward to a productive session of the Parliament, wherepeople-centric and development-oriented issues will be discussed.

Takingto Twitter, PM Modi said, he had a wonderful interaction with leaders and MPsacross party lines at the all-party meeting convened by Lok Sabha Speaker OmBirla on Saturday.

Leadersof different political parties assured Lok Sabha Speaker of all cooperation inthe smooth functioning of the house. Speaking to the reporters after themeeting, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the opposition parties will beallowed to raise any issue in the House after discussion in the BusinessAdvisory Committee.

It maybe mentioned here that Union Ministers Prahlad Patel and Arjun Ram Meghwal,Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, DMK leader TR Balu and TMC leader SudipBandyopadhyay, LJP's Chirag Paswan, BSP's Danish Ali and AIMIM's AsaduddinOwaisi among others attended the meeting. The winter session of Parliament willconclude on 13th of the next month.
