Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Surendra Singh has said that WestBengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should become the Prime Minister ofBangladesh. His remarks came in an attack against Banerjee over the NationalRegister of Citizens (NRC) issue.

"If Mamata Banerjee wants to do politics with the supportof Bangladeshi people, she should go to Bangladesh. It will be good if shebecomes Prime Minister of Bangladesh," said in on Saturday.

He further said that NRC would be implemented in West Bengal at any cost and those who do not qualify as India citizens will be sent to their homes respectfully.

It may be mentioned here that Mamata Banerjee has beenopposing the NRC exercise in Assam and had stated that she will not allow thesame in West Bengal.
