No new COVID-19 test conducted on Amit Shah, clarifies MHA

Few hours after BJP leader Manoj Tiwari shared a tweet stating Home Minister Amit Shah has tested negative for coronavirus, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a clarification informing no test has been conducted so far.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has tested negative for coronavirus, said Manoj Tiwari. The tweet was later deleted.

The union minister tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2. Shah through his twitter handle made the announcement on Twitter that he got tested after showing initial symptoms of the novel coronavirus. Shah has been admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram near Delhi.
