Pakistan Army on Saturday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. Pakistani troops targeted forward posts and villages along the LoC.

Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing and mortar shelling from across the border at around 8PM in Mankote and Krishna Ghati sectors, informed a defence spokesperson.

Meanwhile, one civilian was critically injured in the ceasefire violation by Pakistan.
