Congress president Rahul Gandhi is set to file his nomination papers from his stronghold constituency, Amethi today. He will face off BJP leader Smriti Irani for the run for the lok Sabha seat.

According to reports, Rahul will be accompanied by his mother , Sonia Gandhi and his sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in a procession to file his nomination.

It may be noted that the Congress chief will also be contesting from the Wayanad seat and filed his nominations for the same on April 04.
