Ravi Shankar Prasad faces wrath of his party workers

Pratidin Bureau

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday faced the anger of his party workers in Patna after he arrived from Delhi at the Patna airport. The BJP workers, who were the supporters of Rajya Sabha MP RK Sinha, have raised slogans like, "Ravi Shankar Prasad, go back" at the airport.

The saffron party workers have also waved black flags at the Union Minister Prasad following his arrival. A clash also erupted between the supporters of Ravi Shankar Prasad and RK Sinha.

Notably, RK Sinha's name was also considered as one of the top contenders of BJP for the Patna Sahib seat, where Ravi Shankar Prasad will now contest in the party ticket. BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha was replaced by the Union Minister from the seat.
