The Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday afternoon arrested Rhea Chakraborty after three days of questioning in connection with drug-related allegations in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Her brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested last week.

During her questioning, she admitted to arranging drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and also consuming them at times. Rhea told the NCB that she used to smoke cannabis-filled cigarettes with late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea also claimed during interrogation that Sushant was consuming drugs since 2016.

The Narcotics Control Bureau started its inquiries based on WhatsApp chats retrieved from Rhea Chakraborty's phone, which revealed conversations around procuring drugs, allegedly for Sushant Singh Rajput.

 "The procedure to arrest Rhea Chakraborty is underway," said NCB deputy director KPS Malhotra confirming the arrest.

Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to her twitter handle and welcomed the arrest saying 'God is with us'.
