Samjhauta Express resumes services

The Samjhauta Express left for Pakistan from Delhi on Sunday after the two neighbours agreed to resume its services.

The train started its journey from the Indian side on Sunday, while on the Pakistan side the express left Lahore on Monday for its return journey, reports local media.

It should be noted that, Pakistan had cancelled its services right after the airstrike by the Indian Air Force (IAF). On the other hand, India cancelled the operations of the Samjhauta Express on February 28 (Thursday).
