Take immediate action against JeM: Foreign Secretary to Pak

The Foreign Secretary of India on Friday summoned the Pakistan High Commissioner to the Ministry of External Affairs. Reports suggested that the Foreign Secretary, Vijay Keshav Gokhale, issued a very strong political initiative in connection with the terrorist attack in Pulwama.

News agency ANI reported that the Foreign Secretary has conveyed that Pakistan must take immediate and verifiable action against Pakistan-based terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The Foreign Secretary also said that the country must immediately stop groups or individuals associated with terrorism operating from its territories.

Meanwhile, Gokhale also rejected the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan condemning the attacks on Thursday.
