Terrorist attack injures 3 in Shopian district

Three army personnel, including an officer had been injured in a terrorist attack at an army patrolling party at Turkwangan area in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning.

According to sources, the forces retaliated in a befitting manner. Reportedly, the terrorists managed to escape following the attack.

On Sunday night, an army jawan and a civilian driver were killed during a brief exchange of fire between terrorists and army personnel in Kakapora area of Pulwama district.

Sources said that terrorists attacked 50 Rashtriya Rifles Camp from Railway Line side in Kakapora area around 10 pm which triggered an intense response from the army, and the heavy exchange of fire lasted for not less than ten minutes.
