Trump Offers India-Pak Mediation Again

US President Donald Trump hasonce again made an attempt to resolve the differences between India andPakistan. It may be mentioned here that the offer came hours before he metPrime Minister Narendra Modi for bilateral talks in New York.

"I think as far as Pakistan isconcerned, India, they're talking, I'm certainly willing to help. I think theywould in a certain way like my help. But they've to both want it. They havevery different views and I'm concerned about it," Trump was quoted as saying bynews agencies.

Earlier, Trump met Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan a day after the Howdy Modi event.

Meanwhile, at a joint pressconference with PM Modi ahead of their big bilateral meet, the US Presidentalso dropped a said, "I believe these two great gentlemen (PM Modi and hisPakistani counterpart Imran Khan) will get together and work something."
