World has congratulated Prime Minister Nraendra Modi asmessages poured in from all over the world.

One of the first to arrive was from Chinese Premier Li Xing and quickly followed by US President Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

The social media burst into activity as almost Chief Ministers of India congratulated Mr Modi and Assam Chief Sarbananda Sonowal led the way.

Assam Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma also congratulated Mr Modi for his stupendous win.
