In another proud moment for the State, Guwahati girl Chetna Sharma bagged Gold medal in the Arm Wrestling Championship organised by the Lions Empire Classic Sports Club. The event was staged at the Thayagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi last weekend. Chetna came victorious in the Women's Open Category.

In the same Championship, Debojit Sharma of Assam won Gold in the Men's 100Kg-plus Category event. The event was attended by famous Canadian professional armwrestler Devon "No Limits" Larratt and champion armwrestler Snezhana Babaieva from Slovakia.
