Hashim Amla retires from international cricket

South African batsman Hashim Amla announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket.

Amla appeared in 124 Test matches, 181 One Day Internationals (ODI) and 44 Twenty20 internationals for his country. Amla last played in World Cup 2019 for South Africa.

Cricket South Africa took to twitter confirming Amla's decision that he decided to quit from all formats of international cricket. They also said that Amla had one of the best international career in the modern era.

Amla will continue playing domestic cricket in South Africa and in the Mzansi Super League as well.
