Pratidin Bureau

Team India was bowled out for their lowest-ever One Day International (ODI) total in New Zealand for 92 runs in 30.5 overs on Thursday in the 4th ODI of the series. New Zealand left-arm fast bowler Trent Boult took 5 wickets for his team at the Seddon Park in Hamilton.

Previously, India's previous lowest total in New Zealand was 108, when Sourav Ganguly-led Team India was blown away in Christchurch in 2003. Similarly, India's lowest ODI total against New Zealand came in 2010 in Dambulla, when the team was bowled out for 88.

It should be mentioned that Virat Kohli was not playing for India in the fourth ODI as he was rested for the T20I series against New Zealand. MS Dhoni was also not playing the match as he failed to recover from the hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, New Zealand beat India with 8 wickets. India now lead the series with 3-1. The fifth and final ODI is to be held at Wellington on Sunday.
