Indian athletes win 11 gold in South Asian Junior Athletics Championships

Making the nation proud, Indian Athletes have won 11 gold, 10 silver and 3 bronze medals in the South Asian Junior Athletics Championships 2018 held in Colombo.

Arshdeep Singh bagged India's first gold in junior men's javelin throw event. Kiran Baliyan won gold in junior women's shot.

Lokesh Sathyanathan won the gold in the jump final while Sapna Kumari bagged gold medal in 100m hurdles.

Durga Deore grabbed gold in 1500 metre race, while in the 4x100m relay races, the Indian junior men's team won gold. The women's team delivered a silver medal in the event.

Other Indian athletes who won gold medals are Punitha Ramasamy, Ajay, Kunal Choudhary, Prajwal Ravi and Ankit.
