IPL Opener: CSK Win By 5 Wickets

Two of Indian Premier League's (IPL) most successful teams kick-started the championship on Saturday with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beating Mumbai Indians (MI) by five wickets in the opening match.

The new season IPL started yesterday when defending champions and four-time winners Mumbai Indians took on three-time title champions Chennai Super Kings at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

MI scored 162/9 in the first innings.

Furthermore, it is the 100th IPL win for MS Dhoni as CSK captain.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals and of Kings XI Punjab would lock horns today in the second match of the tournament in Dubai.
