Sachin warns team India ahead of June 9 match

MasterBlaster Sachin Tendulkar warned team India ahead of their next ICC World Cup2019 match against Australia on June 9 at The Oval.

OnWednesday, India beat South Africa in the opening match with Rohit Sharmataking centrestage with an unbeaten hundred (122*) after Jasprit Bumrah and thewrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav restricted the Proteas to 227for 8.

On Friday,Sachin advised Team India not to get complacent and carry the confidence gainedfrom the victory over South Africa against a tough Australian side on Sunday.

Sachin Tendulkarsaid that all the confidence you have gained from this game (vs South Africa),pack that in your kit back and get to your next game. "Australians are going tobe a tough team to handle because of the combination and confidence they haveat the moment," said Sachin.

In the WorldCup, 2019 list, Australia rose to No 2 with thrilling win against West Indieson Thursday in which fast bowler Mitchell Starc took five wickets.

Sachin furthersaid that Australia at The Oval, it's going to be a good game. Talking aboutthe pitch, Tendulkar said that the pitch has slightly spongy bounce and hethink Australians are more used to that. Oval is one pitch where there is alittle bit of extra bounce, according to Sachin which might favor Australiaslightly.

Sachin,while terming Australia a different side, he hailed David Warner giving theopener credit for the turnaround. He further reiterated that they are adifferent side (after Smith and Warner's return). "Whatever I saw of DavidWarner in the IPL, he looked extremely fit and above all he looked determinedand motivated to go out there and get runs," said Tendulkar.
