Saina Nehwal has made her way to the semis at the 83rd Senior National Badminton Championship defeating Neha Pandit from Maharastra 21-10,21-10.

It is to be mentioned that prior to the mixed-doubles pre-quarterfinals match of the 83rd Senior National Badminton Championship at Guwahati, Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap complained about the badminton court at the stadium, following which Assam Badminton Association has been preparing to improve the court.
