Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting South Korean President Moon Jae-in shall on Monday inaugurate the world's largest mobile phone factory in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The Samsung Electronics facility, spread over an area of 35 acres, is being reckoned as the largest mobile phone production unit in terms of the number of devices rolled out per month.

Samsung, after the roll-out of this facility, is expected to manufacture approximately 120 million smartphones per month.

It may be mentioned here that Samsung accounts for 10% of smartphone sales globally.

As per reports, the facility at Noida shall assemble parts sourced from other agencies.
