40 dead in Moscow plane crash

At least  41 people including at least two children perished after a Russian passenger plane made an emergency landing and erupted in a huge ball of fire at the Sheremetyevo airport of Moscow.

The  social mediafootage showed that  Aeroflot's SukhoiSuperjet 100 aircraft crash-landing and then speeding along the runway atSheremetyevo international airport, flames pouring from its fuselage.

The injured passengers could be seen leaping onto aninflatable slide at the front and running from the blazing plane as huge blackcolumns of smoke billowed into the sky.

" Altogether There were 78 people including crewmembers on board the plane," the Investigative Committee said in astatement, adding that the plane had been flying to the northwestern Russiancity of Murmansk. The plan has 78 of which 37 people survived."
